Lovin the Bumbo

I got Easton a tray for his Bumbo so he could play with is toys on it.  When it's not on he just grabs the middle and tries to shake it!  At first he just tried to get the tray off, but I think he's used to it now and just plays with his toys.  The first two photos are from our neighbor Logan's junior high football game last Thursday.

On Tuesday we tried giving Easton rice cereal for the first time.  He went right for the spoon.  Then again, you put anything in front of his mouth and he tries to chew on it!  The cereal didn't go over as well as the spoon though.

Godfather Chris and Jen's Wedding Weekend

Godfather Chris and Jennifer got married last weekend.  We had a great time hanging out with old friends at the rehearsal.  It's funny, cuz in my group of friends from home, most of them are on their 2nd or 3rd kid.  But in this group, we're the first to have a baby!

He was happy the entire night until we decided to take a picture with the bride and groom!

The wedding was a long, fun day for all of us!  Elwin was a groomsman, so he partied all day!  Easton and I hung out some at Dana's between the wedding and rehearsal, so we were a little more rested up for the dance.  Easton tried his hardest to stay awake the whole time.  He did take a little catnap around suppertime, and then a little one a few hours later.  But a few little 30 minutes naps, and that boy was good to go the rest of the evening.   He danced and wiggled and giggled and met all kinds of new friends.  We all had a great time and are very, very happy for Chris and Jen!  Easton was the only lucky one who got to sleep on the way home!!!

Our purple family

The lady that did Easton's 3 month photos did some family shots for us as well. We took these at the KSU Gardens.

Dress up

We have been clearance shopping and to the consignment sale, searching desperately for fall/winter clothes.  Easton has lots of summer stuff that he still hasn't worn, but the weather isn't cooperating very well to allow him to wear them.  So, I guess they wait for the next baby (NOT on the way yet), or maybe a nice 85 degree day in late Sept or early Oct.  Luckily, Easton seems to enjoy playing dress up.  Even Daddy gets excited to make him try things on from time to time.  The hat and sunglasses are all courtesy of Elwin.  I'm not sure when he'll need a fuzzy snow suit with bear ears, but just in case, we now have one thanks to a great sale at Old Navy and my lack of self-restraint!!!

Working boy

Easton came to work with me a few days this week.  Melissa's youngest had a fever, so we had no babysitter.  So on Monday he came to work most of the day, and Tuesday was shuffled between Cousin Melanie, Aunt Dana, and work.  He somehow managed to stay pretty happy between all the hands he was passed thru.  He was certainly a fun helper, and I wish I could bring him every day!

Busy, busy boy!!!

Our little man has had quite a busy last few weeks. He has been to a wedding, a birthday party, shopping, apple picking, and even to work with Mommy a few days! We've seen grandparents and cousins and friends galore! It's been good times! And we're anxiously awaiting Godfather Chris's wedding next weekend! Easton is giggling lots, especially if you stick his feet up to his mouth. He thinks that's the best! Soon he should be rolling over...although I won't complain that he's not doing it yet. At least he stays where I put him for now!

Purple Saturday

Easton was all smiles most of the day for his first ever Purple Saturday. And the Cats pulled thru to make it a great day. We had supper at the new Kites Bar and Grill and listened to the game with Auntie Dana and Unkie Justin.
