No No

Easton has mastered No No. He doesn't say it, but usually he gives you the most serious face and shakes his head back and forth. Sometimes though, he knows he's cute, and just grins from ear to ear as he's doing it! And if he knows he's being naughty, sometimes he's start shaking his head before we can even tell him no!

Easter weekend at home

We stayed home this year. We've been on the road a lot lately, and will be again this coming weekend. So no extended family this weekend. But we had fun. Elwin was working on some sheetrock for the Sr Citizens Center, and it was nice out. So Easton and I went for a walk to the park. The video isn't too exciting, but he was having fun. By the way, the shirt he's wearing here...Minnie Mouse...that was Elwin's when he was a baby!

I pulled the Johnny Jumper back out. I just had a feeling that he would appreciate it so much more now. Boy was I right. He loves it. He bounced for 45 minutes on Saturday. We had gone outside to look at something in the garage, and I came back in thinking he was probably mad and crying. But nope, he was still happily bouncing away. I love it. He's happy, and he can't get into anything! Best of both worlds!

Easter Sunday Elwin was dressing Easton. He brought him out looking like this! I think this was his ploy to convince me to cut his hair! And it worked. We're trying to get him an appt this week before Jill's wedding. Se we went to church, to lunch, to Home Depot and Wal-Mart.....everyone stared. Everyone laughed. Most people commented. It was funny. Except in church. I wasn't too thrilled about it for church. But it was cute everywhere else. Elwin had put enough product in it that it still looked like this when we got home at 6:30pm! Hopefully the next mohawk won't stand quite so tall!

Into everything

Here are some random photos from the last few weeks. The kid is into everything these days!

Oh yeah, this last photo is for my mom and Betsy. We had supper with Ray and Melissa and the kids one night. Ray mentioned that he liked Lemon Merangue Pie. I had never made one before and I like it as well. So thought I'd give it a shot. I was pretty darn proud of how well it turned out. Looks ALMOST as good as my moms! Hey, for a first timer, I thought I should gloat a bit! Oh yeah, it was delicious!
