6 month photos

This and That 2

Grammy had some fun lizzards for Easton to chew on. Who knew they would be the greatest chew toys ever!

Just a little lovin on Charlie. They're definately best buds.

Playing with Godfather Chris at his house.

The lizzards were such a hit at Grammy's house that we found some for him to have at home. $1 little treasures at Toys R Us. Can't beat that!

Spending some time with Uncle Andrew at Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving/Christmas at the Vetters

This was Easton's first experience opening presents. It might not have been the best time to judge his excitement about it, as it had been a long napless day. He did rip a few pieces of paper and chewed on whatever he could get to his mouth. As soon as all his gifts were opened he went right to sleep! Good thing he has many more Christmas get-togethers to practice the art of opening presents!

This and That 1

Well, Rebekah got on my case for not posting any new picture in the last month. Sorry about that! I keep downloading them with every intention to post them, then time just gets away from me. So I'm gonna try to make up for that today.

Easton has graduated to the big boy tub. Not sure he really cares, as long as he's got something to chew on while he's in there!

Feet have been the new discovery lately. He found them a while ago, but lately has really started to play with them and chew on them a little more. One night he was in the tub and tried to stick his face under the water to chew on his toes!

Blocks

So Easton has these wonderful colored rubber blocks that he loves to play with and chew on. These were going to be in his 6 month pictures on Sunday. Problem was, I couldn't figure out what outfit to put him in and we weren't going to buy another outfit just for pictures. So we took some test pictures in and out of clothes. Here's just a few.  I'm not sure the outfit we finally (and at the last minute) decided on really works, but oh well. You'll just have to wait to see it when we get the 6 month pics back in a week or so.

Hunting Weekend

Wow! I'm getting all kinds of photos posted tonight! This is the last of them. The first weekend in November was opening pheasant weekend. So we were back in the Scandia area for some fun. We stopped at the Depot Market on Sunday to take some pictures with the pumpkins. Easton wouldn't look at the camera, just kept looking back and forth and back and forth...
I made Easton a bright orange hunting vest and hat. It ended up being way too hot though for the hat! It also ended up being way to hot for much successful hunting. I'm pretty sure the guys had a good time though.

Halloween

We didn't really take Easton trick-or-treating, but we did dress him up Halloween night before we left town and headed over to the neighbors. Here he is with Vince and Sandi.

We had to dress him up back in Osborne when we were there the week before Halloween.

Weekend with Jillie (late October)

A couple weeks ago, in late October, Jillie was home from North Dakota. We got to go for a walk with her and Grandma Jeanne and then later out to supper at Duffy's in Smith Center. Grandma Jeanne had Easton laughing harder than I've ever seen him laugh before (or since). Apparently she's pretty funny!!

Krista was home for the weekend too, so she went with us to Duffy's. We had a great time! Need to get together with old friends more often.

A week at home

Aunt Cle and Uncle Ed were in the area visiting Grandma Dunstan this last weekend, so they stopped by on their way thru to meet Easton. We had lunch and a good visit.

Charlie and Easton are best buddies. I imagine that all too soon Easton will be big enough to go for a ride all on his own! Charlie wasn't too big on being used as a horse and kept trying to turn around to see what was going on!

Melissa was out of town this whole last week, so Easton and Mommy got some quality time at home for a few days. Nanette and David picked up an exersaucer for us at Kid to Kid in Wichita, so that was great entertainment all week. It amazes me how happy he is playing in this thing. Finally we've found something that keeps his attention for more than 30 seconds!

Easton is sitting up VERY well, but still not interested in rolling over. We've been working on tummy time with him, and every now and again he seems to enjoy it for a bit. I suppose it depends on whether or not he's being entertained.

I still need to post pictures from Jillie's visit. I thought they were on my camera still, but they must've been downloaded to my computer at home. Also on that computer are the hunting photos. So I promise to get that stuff up soon. Sorry for the giant gap in time, but like I said, we've been home for a week and internet is pretty slow there since we don't have high speed. One day....

Halloween at Famous Dave's

We took Easton trick-or-treating last night...kinda. We dressed him up and went out to supper with some friends! It was a treat for us anyway! We went to Famous Dave's. It was Kids Night, so they had their pig mascot running around. We snagged him for a quick picture with Easton, who wasn't very thrilled to be stuffed back into the costume again! I don't blame him though. We'd had him at the doctor earlier to confirm our suspicions of an ear infection. Poor guy is in a bit of pain. I hope the drops help and it heals up fast. Daddy has big plans for him to go hunting with us this weekend! Hopefully I'll get some better Halloween pics this weekend.

I made Easton a hat and some longer pants this week! And I must say, they're not terrible! I bought some bright orange fleece, so tonight I'm gonna try to make him a hat with ear flaps and a little vest for hunting this weekend!
